This scholarship is being offered by the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
About the scholarship
The Government of Himachal Pradesh invites applications from meritorious students of the OBC category who have passed class 10 for Dr. Ambedkar Medhavi Chatravriti Yojana for OBC Students, Himachal Pradesh . The students must have taken admission in class 11 or in any professional/technical courses after class 10. Selected scholars will receive INR 10,000 per annum.
Eligibility for the scholarship
1. Be a citizen of Himachal Pradesh
2. Belong to OBC (Other Backward Classes) category
3. Have passed class 10
4. Have taken admission in class 11 or any professional/technical courses after class 10 at a recognized institution within or outside the state
Benefits of the scholarship
Top 1,000 meritorious students of OBC category will receive INR 10,000 per annum for two years.
Term and condition
1. The scholarship is tenable for only two years, the renewal is subject to satisfactory performance in the first year of study or class 11 internal examination.
2. The student has to take admission within the state or outside the state, after completing the class 10.
Application procedure
1. Select the state of domicile, scholarship category, scheme type (scholarship scheme), gender, write the applicant's name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID.
2. Provide the bank details (Bank name, IFSC Code, Account Number)
3. Select Aadhaar or Bank Account Number as identification detail and click on the 'Register' button.
4. The mobile number will be verified and an OTP will be generated.
5. Now, log in using OTP and fill the form.
6. An application ID and password will be generated. Use that for future references.
7. All the applicants are advised to fill the form correctly, no changes can be made once submitted. The applicants are also advised to fill only one application as multiple applications will lead to the cancellation of the form.
