SocialWorkIn NGO Compliance Assistant
Know your NGO's obligations. Prepare your documents. Stay organised.
This tool helps Indian NGOs, trusts, societies, and Section 8 companies organise their statutory and operational compliance. It does not file government returns, connect to government servers, verify registration certificates, or replace a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary (CS), or legal advocate. Always verify current statutory forms, thresholds, and date-specific CBDT/MHA/MCA notifications before filing.
How to use this tool (Step-by-step guide & privacy info) ▾
Tell the assistant about your NGO's legal structure (Trust, Society, Section 8 Company, or Unregistered), state/district (including Odisha-specific rules), tax approvals (RNPO Section 332/12AB, Section 354/80G), funding sources (CSR, FCRA, domestic), accounting records, and current filing status.
Our conditional rules engine evaluates your answers against applicable Indian frameworks—including the transition from the Income-tax Act, 1961 (Forms 10BD/10BE, 10B/10BB) to the Income-tax Act, 2025 (effective 1 April 2026: Section 332 RNPO, Section 354, Forms 113/114, and Form 112 audit report).
Assign responsibilities, record user-reported completion dates, check document readiness, calculate days remaining to confirmed deadlines, and open verified official government portals safely.
Create a comprehensive, editable “NGO Compliance Status and Action Plan” report. Print or save as PDF, download as HTML, export your checklist as CSV, or export deadlines as an ICS calendar file. All data stays strictly in your browser.
