'Pushpa: The Rise' was named the Film of the Year at the DPIFF 2022.

2-Mekapati Gautham Reddy, Andhra Pradesh's Minister of Information, Technology, and Industries, died on February 21, 2022, of a heart attack. After collapsing at his residence, Reddy was rushed to Apollo Hospitals in Jubilee Hills. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Governor of Andhra Pradesh Biswa Bhushan Harichandan expressed shock at Goutham Reddy's sudden demise.

3-Lalu Prasad Yadav, the RJD leader and former Chief Minister of Bihar, has been sentenced to five years in prison in the fifth fodder scam case by a CBI court in Ranchi. Additionally, the court imposed a Rs 60 lakh fine on Lalu Prasad Yadav. On February 15, 2022, the three-time former Chief Minister of Bihar was found guilty along with 39 others in the fifth fodder scam case.
